Surprise! One last Change

October 16, 2026

Ok, I know that I said I had made my final change and I know that in the past I have not been very consistent with sticking to one thing. This time I truly intended to stick with Polymer Clay long-term, but during my journey with the WORK OF ART program at Mainframe Studios (still 4 weeks left), it was my job to really think about my work and my business and figure out what was important to move forward. For me, that was WORKING LARGE. You all know that I used to paint large and I love large work cuz lets face, it makes a statement.

With that said, polymer clay did not offer the scaling that I was looking for. My largest sculpture could not be over 11.5 inches. That just would not do. Thankfully, now that I am delving into the world of sculpture, I found the perfect medium for home use that acts like clay, but has no size limit – Paper Mache Clay. Instead of strips, the recipe is beat down into pulp that can be spread like clay.

So, here we are two weeks in and this is where I am at. I am making a few changes due to the medium, but the direction is solid.
