It is finally really feeling like summer. It has been warm for a while now, but for some reason the summer feeling just hadn’t set in. This gorgeous photo reminded me of how beautiful it is to be on the water, not to mention, how beautiful are these boats? Another bright palette, I know, but I couldn’t resist the charm.
Are you feeling that summer feeling? Do you have any water related plans coming up or a fun summer vacation of any kind?
Last week my home post featured some bright– brights and it seemed that you guys LOVE brights! I also enjoy a fun bright palette and while today’s in the mood is not the same neon bright as last weeks home post, this palette is another kind of bright palette. This weeks palette is colorful and bright, but not as saturated as the colors from last week. Kind of reminds me of summer.
What do you think — neon’s or colorful or both? I love them all!
Go bright and fun at home! This happy home feature will give your eyes a thrill. Bringing brights into your home is a great way to add some cheer. Bright colors are happy and motivational. If mixing brights is too much, you can always go with neutral furniture and bring in bright pops of color in your throw pillows, wall art or curtains.

Hope this post gives you a Monday smile and that your week is just as bright. Do you have brights in your home? What do you think of all of this color?
This week was an easy theme for me as I LOVE and have been wanting to create a new set of robots for a while, so thank you Illustration Friday! Continue reading
My submission for this weeks Illustration Friday theme — Imagination. For some odd reason, when the word imagination came to mind, I thought about when I was a child and was completely convinced they had their own little worlds and were just out there living, just like we do. So this week I drew a bear dancing in the woods — which is totally what the do when no one is looking - right?
