Illustration Friday: Imagination
My submission for this weeks Illustration Friday theme – Imagination. For some odd reason, when the word imagination came to mind, I thought about when I was a child and was completely convinced they had their own little worlds and were just out there living, just like we do. So this week I drew a bear dancing in the woods – which is totally what the do when no one is looking - right?

What do you think of when you hear the word imagination? I would love to hear your thoughts on this illustration or your Illustration Friday ideas.

Adorable! And yes, I still think there are places where bears dance in the woods in their cute magical outfits with the magical little victrolas. Why not! Really lovely color choices and collection of details. The trees are really nice! I think if we can imagine it, then it may exist somewhere, even if it’s just a totally magical place we may never get to visit.

Beautiful piece! The colors are perfect and I adore the little bird and the bear’s suspenders!

Thank you so much Hannah! I love the suspenders too — that was in my original concept drawing and was a must have! It is funny how things get added and subtracted going from sketch to illustrator but there was no way I was loosing the suspenders!
